Principal Designer Susan Gold Apatoff, Allied Member, ASID is an award-winning interior designer with over 20 years experience designing functional, tailored, beautiful residential spaces for a variety of clients and projects, including model homes, high-end residences and real estate staging. She received her BFA in Interior Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. As a student at RIT she won the competition to design the interiors of the school's award-winning student union. Susan continued her interior design practice as a designer with several Washington, DC area design firms where she specialized in high-end residential design projects in the DC Metro Area as well as overseas and later began work on designing model homes for two national design firms for some of the nation's foremost homebuilders, including, Winchester, NV Homes, Mitchell & Best, K.Hovnanian, Toll Brothers, Craftmark, Augustine Homes, Stanley Martin and M/I Homes. In 2002, she launched SGA byDesign to provide high-value interior design consulting to consult, create and complete residential and model home projects. Since then, her work has been recognized in Home and Design Magazine and Trends and has been featured in dozens of other publications showcasing many residential design projects.
